The cartel authorities’ decision against permitting a partial sale affirmed Constantia Industries’ decision to voluntarily back off from their spin-off plans. Thus, FunderMax is to remain independent and continue activities in all its current market segments. The objective is to continue developing superlative-quality products and services at full force—and to continue an international success story to which the recent export quota of nearly 80% bears convincing witness. Maximum customer value for the manufacturing industry, the wood products trade and the end user remains at the centre of all our efforts.

 

Constantia Industries is now concentrating on preparing the early-October sale of its subsidiaries Falco AG (in Hungary) and Sprela GmbH (in Germany) to Germany’s Kronospan, a transaction which has been given the go-ahead by the authorities in Brussels.
