MAX Compact Laminates and MAX Exterior obtain CE conformity
Since the new product standard EN 438-7 has taken effect it is legally required that all compact laminate materials used in building construction carry proof of compliance with the requirements laid down in building product guidelines. Since November 1, 2006, compact laminates without the CE symbol may no longer be used as building products.
The perfect quality assurance and production quality control systems in place at FUNDERMAX, plus independent supervision by OFI (Austrian Institute for Chemistry and Technology) - an accredited testing and inspection body - provide the basis for uncomplicated certification procedures by the independent Austrian Standards Institute.

On this subject we would also like to inform you that MAX Compact Laminates and MAX Exterior have of course already been tested in accordance with the new European standard EN13501-1 (Fire classification of construction products and building elements). This standard now applies throughout Europe; the period of transition varies from country to country, but in Austria the new standard has already replaced national fire classification standards (DIN 4102, BS 476, NFP 92501 etc.).
